Sheilah's snaps

By Sheilah

16th April 1746 is the day when the Battle of Culloden Moor took place.

I decided to take an early morning walk up there in commemoration. The site has been restored by the National Trust and is a great space.

It was a dull, grey morning but I liked the colours of the moss in the boggy areas. (the boggy terrain was one of many reasons for the Jacobite defeat)
