A new stitch

Playing with Pekinese Stitch. This took a bit of practice, loops worked round a line of backstitch. An old stitch, used in Chinese embroidery, it has also been called Blind Stitch or Forbidden Stitch as it was once worked in very fine silk and 30 to 40 stitches too the inch (I was working on about 8 to the inch!) and could damage the eyes of the embroiderers. 

We were at the Cinema last night - remember, huge screen, lots of seats, other people! We went to Rheged, which was highly organised to be Covid safe. Nomadland - absolutely brilliant. Definitely needed the big screen for the stunning landscape, including parts of Arizona we recognised. No one was murdered, no one was beaten up, there were no guns, and not a lot happened - it was so, so good.
