Friends.?

My relaxed afternoon yesterday rapidly hit the buffers ! I had prped the dinner about 5.45 then sat a while then went back into the kitchen about half an hour later to find the place almost knee deep underwater!!
Himself had been hosing the patio, the garden, the entire street then came in for a coffee, only he didnt disconnect the bloody hose! However the hose decided to disconect itself as did the cloth wrapped in true Hebridean style round the tap to keep said hose in place. The cloth then blocked the bathroom sink plughole and by then 40 minutes of water was pouring through my kitchen ceiling!
I was going to wash the floor today anyhow but that was ridiculous!
I was quietly raging while himself hid out of sight!
