This chaffinch just landed on the grass patch in front of where I had parked, and started munching on the dandelion seeds.  We are usually unaware of the contribution that dandelions make to the nutrition of some birds at this time of year, and we are becoming more aware of the benefits of 'wilding' to our fauna.
