Early start

The colours in the sky this morning were beautiful as I drove to the golf course in not perfect golfing conditions!
We decided to play, maybe nine holes, but the wind got stronger until it was impossible to play. We managed six holes, and when my partner's golf cart went flying off and nearly into a bunker, but fortunately overturned just before...and with me in pursuit...we decided that was it!!
So hot chocolate was enjoyed in the club house instead.
This afternoon we went to our son-in- law's mother's memorial service where we briefly saw our lovely grandsons who had flown up from Cape Town. These occasions always remind one of the importance of family and making memories.
And this evening the wind is still howling.....
The extra is a beautiful rainbow that kept appearing, encouraging us to play on!
