Great Glasshouse

Here comes the rain again.......and the wind.....

So where to go? We needed somewhere with indoor options. So we tried the National Botanic Garden of Wales. In fact it wasn't a bad option considering the weather and it was only 15 minutes drive away. 

We didn't wander to much outside, which was a shame as there would be plenty to explore. We'll have to save that for another day. But the Great Glasshouse was very impressive. And we visited the British Bird of Prey Centre which is housed at the gardens (see extras - Golden Eagle, Red Kite and Kestrel).

We got back to the cottage in time to watch the wind gusts increase and the garden furniture slide across the decking! I don't think we'll be sitting out watching the wildlife tonight!
