Red Beauty

The Alstroemeria is undoubtedly high on my favourite list of flowers - although the garden is being terribly battered by the SW gales - inside my flowers are safe and sound - the lovely red flowers sit on my desk they are the source of beauty and remind me of the beautiful world we live in. - despite all the unrest and uncertainty 

Looking up the plant I found that it is also referred to a Peruvian Lily or Lily of the Incas
