Disappointed

I finished this hussif today after several hours of embroidery over the last few weeks . I had already cut out the pockets et and so assembly was straightforward this morning and the hand stitching of the binding into place a pleasure before lunch.
I do so hate sounding like a grump because in the greater scheme of things it doesn't matter a jot , but I'm feeling the result is a bit oversized and inelegant compared to the hussifs I made years ago and the thing that really made me frustrated was the poorly edited and written pattern.
Rant over.
I'm blessed with family , choice, and peace in the beautiful place in which I live.
