Toadily Golden Eyes

This fellow was very cozy between our bags of Coast of Maine Seaweed and Bark Garden Mulch. T discovered him called me for a photoshoot. I settled in and watched him for a long time. I had the thrill of seeing him blink and then open his mouth and try to get a fly with his long amazing tongue. Unfortunately he is still sitting by the last bag, making it absolutely impossible for T to pick it up safely.

I participated in a Zoom Garden Club Program about this afternoon about eating and decorating food with edible flowers. It was given by one of our own members. She has great food decorating style, so it was informative and beautifully done. Saturday we are holding our big plant sale fundraiser along with the other garden club in town. It will be different with Covid rules, but twice as many plants from established local gardens.

Thanks for the good thoughts for our precious little Merry. Who knows what lies ahead for her, but you caring thoughts help.
