Proper

The dress I made yesterday was a pretend make (a toile apparently), today I cut out the proper nice material to make another one.

And a lifetime first for me today - I swam 50 lengths front crawl. Slow as an elderly tortoise but am ever so proud of myself. Imagine what type of dress making athlete I would be if I hadn’t had to go to work all these years! No matter, just happy to have the time now to teach myself.

And it’s blowing a gale tonight, just in time for our open air comedy evening tomorrow.
