Fisherman's Bothy

Just yards from the shore at Kilfinichen bay, this little thatched house is set in an idyllic position.

It's been a rainy day today. We didn't rush to get anywhere very early but we did set of for Bunessan and Ardalanish, Isle of Mull weavers. Marian was keen to see the yarn spun from their own sheep. She bought two skeins and a flat hat! I took some photos of the nearby beach but they lack colour.

After lunch it looked as if the day was brightening a little so I went round to the other side of the loch to Kilfinichen bay to find this little house. It's been tarted up a little since the picture I originally saw of it but it is very pretty. Just two rooms, it is available as a holiday rental.

I've managed to upload a couple of extras. The first is a drone shot from the front of the house. Taken yesterday before the wind came in. The second is tonight's sunset.
