Emergency blip

No 2 son left early this morning for his drive south.  It was an emotional parting as it has been a really good few days with him.  He has arrived home safely and he enjoyed the visit too.

We had good conversations about all sorts of things and I was so delighted that he enjoyed our walk on Whitbarrow yesterday - when he was a child he really didn't like walking at all.

Chores, emails and admin have beckoned today.  The wet weather here has prevented a more exciting blip so the peony wins the day (again).
