fog

in edinburgh i'd be calling it haar, but down here they call it sea fret - the chilly fog that rolls in off the sea and makes coastal life less exciting than it sounds. it makes plants like this camelia look pretty, but unfortunately it doesn't make for a day off :-( spent an hour this morning in a freezing cold garden putting branches of two trees my dad took down last week thru the chipper (very therapeutic tho), then the afternoon digging out a large rockery at A&K's and shifting plants across to another part of the garden. knackering!

back to edin tonight as back to work tomorrow - i think i'd rather be digging; at least only the muscles, not the brain, hurt at the end of that.

also, backblips for monday and yesterday are up - you'll see there's something of a theme!
