Heron in the creek

There are often herons fishing in the creek at the entrance to the harbour. I keep hoping to get a good photo of one someday, and this isn't it! I couldn't resist that reflection though. I took it from too far away and had to really crop it, then I added an oil paint filter and canvas texture. I should remember to take my zoom lens with me on a walk to try to get a better shot. 
A good walk this morning, although the wind was chilly. I've posted several shots of boats and water lately, so I decided not to use the first extra of a fag break on a boat. I also added two extras of a roofer making repairs to the little cafe beside the dock. I called up and asked if I could take a photo and he gave me the thumbs up. Always better to have permission rather than being caught pointing the camera at someone!
