Sunny Window

Woke up this morning to a heavy snowfall, set off for work early to discover the gritters hadn't been out and the roads were treacherous!! A very slow drive to work which took 3 times longer than usual. At least once I'd finished it had started to thaw and the drive home was much safer.

These tulips were a gift on Mothers Day, as well as daffodils but I've been told they shouldn't be in the same vase (not sure why) so I have a vase of tulips & a vase of daffodils, and they certainly brighten up my day. I liked the way the sun was shining on them this afternoon, don't be fooled though it is only 2 deg.

Will blip the daffies another day :-)
