Green Shoots
The first of this year's seeds have sprouted. I quite like the droplets.
I'm the middle of one of the greatest pleasures, a Monday off. What's even better is that I have the next three Mondays off too. All the better as it was unexpected.
I'm in the middle of what's called "Probezeit" (basically, they make sure that you can do the job and that you're not a waste of space). And normally that means no holidays for those 6 months. However, since my Probezeit covers the old holiday year I had three days that I could take. And since I have to take them before the end of March, what better way than every Monday.
It was not a relaxing Monday as we had to take Moot to the Vet for his bi-weekly check-up. It's not funny trying to get him into his carrycase. He really doesn't enjoy it. And then at the Vet's, very unfunny. Moot does not like dogs, he is afraid of them. So a big "F*ck You" to the woman with the dog that wouldn't stop barking and who wouldn't get out of the doorway so I could at least get Moot outside. It must be amazing to be so oblivious of everything around you.
And then we followed that up with a trip to the T-Mobile shop. It's amazing to watch incompetence in action. There are at least 12 people working in the shop. But only 2 seemed to be talking to customers. No-one asked "Can I help?" In fact we were pretty much ignored. It was an absolute shambles. It amazes me that these places make money.
Here's hoping that school tonight is a bit more fun.
<Edit>
