What a day for a vaccine!

So relieved and thankful my turn has come round. I have warm and very vivid post-vaccination recollections from my childhood when Mom would usually take us off to the toy shop where I would pick out a Polly Pocket for my bravery treat. So, armed with some vouchers D kindly gave me recently, I marched straight off to the Clarins counter in Boots and got myself a little red bag of “lovely little things” as Mom and I would say. I’m not sure I really earned them as the injection wasn’t quite the ordeal I remembered ha ha! Thank you NHS and all involved!
