Jerome Increase Case  founded his threshing machine company in 1842 and for more than a century made heavy agricultural machinery in Wisconsin. In the 20th century Case was one of the ten largest farm tractor makers in the world. Later known more for it's construction machinery, you can still see the old tractors working on in the 21st century.
