Unexpected 2
The Northumberland-flag bunting, put up to celebrate the opening of non-essential shops after a long period of lockdown, was taken down last week. Today the sound of ladders and, once again, an unexpected face outside the window of our first-floor flat. Red, white, and blue bunting is now fluttering above the High Street. No idea why - maybe in honour of the Queen's birthday next month?
A bit more admin, more Babbeling, and yet more red herrings on Ancestry. In the afternoon an unexpected visit from Jacqui (and Fletch), who brought her new camera. Lovely to be able to invite them upstairs for a cup of tea!
Good news from Leeds - Tom, my son, had his first vaccination this evening. Strange times indeed when having an injection is an exciting event!
