Trying...
These poor wee critters are struggling to break through the blizzard like conditions we have today. I decided to brave the weather to go in search for a blip and a spot of exercise. I got as far as the church when the snow started up again, and the wind felt like it was slapping me across the face with a leather belt, so i decided to give up and head for the warmth of home. One of my fave poets and poems is Wordsworth's Daffodils, having got my best ever exam score in my final exam at Uni a couple of years ago, Wordsworth has a place in my heart :-)
here is the first two stanzas of the said poem
I wandered lonely as a cloud
That floats on high o'er vales and hills,
When all at once I saw a crowd,
A host, of golden daffodils;
Beside the lake, beneath the trees,
Fluttering and dancing in the breeze.
Continuous as the stars that shine
And twinkle on the milky way,
They stretched in never-ending line
Along the margin of a bay:
Ten thousand saw I at a glance,
Tossing their heads in sprightly dance.
ok so maybe these wee daffs are not a great host yet, but they are trying bless them, and i love the light.
