CALANDRINIA spectabilis: Rock Purslane

Last year, during COVID's STAY AT HOME order I posted a mass of these flowers blooming up a storm, in a highway median.  I love how the TINY flowers float, as if suspended in thin air, like in my neighbors garden.

Soon after, I bought many of these plants at the
flower nursery & slipped them in each side of my sidewalk.  For many months they were boring nondescript succulents.  A few weeks ago they started blooming..  (SEE EXTRA) What a transformation!

Now they are my favorite succulent. Angus & I walk by them every day,
& I start thinking the day has possibilities.
