Sun and Son!

Today the weather sunniest I have ever known thw Lakes! Trip.down memory lane to Derwentwater, tea and scone in Grange the little tea shop on the River.
Walk round Derwentwater to see the carved hands there high! made from.an oaktree in 2002A thank you from.tje National.Trust.so.our.son sat.i them like.he did some 12+ years ago.. when home will compare!

Then we drove over Ashness Bridge and onto Watendenlath Tarn single track.road minimal.passing places, that.moment you.try.to.remember where last passing place was?? so.of.you.need to.some.how reverse.you can.
We stopped had dinner The travellers Inn just outside Grasmere with stunning views.

Another perfect lakeland day, we went out with our friends to.Rothay Manor my.goodness.we all.felt.worse for wear.and they treated us!!!! the bill.must have been huge.. 5 x tasting menu and wines etc..
