Non-smoking Room

The sign says the room we got to spend the night is a non-smoking one.  That must mean that the last people to stay in it should be chased a cleaning fee.  
     The place was otherwise clean if not a little bit shabby. The company is in the process of building a new hotel right next door and I'm sure it's hard to justify putting a lot of money into a building that's going to be torn down.
     The odor wasn't awful, in fact just barely noticeable,.  By the time we were ready for bed we couldn't even detect it.
