Darmstadt

I had an appointment at the oral surgeons in Darmstadt. 
It was only an easy talk.The treatment will be in June.
The dentist was near the Centralstation.
The Centralstation was built in its first form as early as 1888 as Darmstadt's first power station . The power plant was primarily used to supply electrical street lighting in downtown Darmstadt, the ducal court and the court theater, and from 1897 also the tram. In 1915, the outdated central station was shut down and has served as a switchgear since then , which worked until 1976. In 1997, the city council of Darmstadt decided to use the so-called Hall A as a cultural facility.
We also visited the "Long Lui". It is one of the landmarks of Darmstadt. 
On special days you can climb to the visitors platform along a spiral staircase in the pillar. I never did the 172 steps :-)
