Weeping Birch

This fine specimen of a weeping birch is in the garden of our friends of more than 50 years D and L in Biggar. We stopped off on our way back from Stratford on Avon having last been able to see them at their Mull croft just before the first lockdown last March. 
There have been many WhatsApps shared and many hours of phone calls in the last 14 months but  it was so good to be able to sit down and have a coffee with them before heading for home.
