Fast Lens

Picked this up at an estate sale for $10. Tomioka 55mm, F1.2, M42 screw mount. Other photographers were looking at it, and were not interested. I have learned along time ago to use my iphone to look up odd lens names. Surprise....This is probably the greatest M42 lens ever made. M-42 is a screw-mount. Tomioka is an old Japanese lens maker, that made lens for all different camera manufacturers. They also made lenses for Carl Zeiss. These are highly sought after, and have been selling on EBAY for $700-$1,000 dollars. Many photographers get M42 adapters for their cameras. Do I need an F1.2 lens for my Nikon???? Silly question.
