A Beauty.....!!!

But not for long if we keep having these thundering downpours.....not so far today yet but promised for the afternoon...!
I can still see water in its many petals....so I’ve picked this one and brought it inside to admire in a vase on my kitchen windowsill..!

Mel has to go to the vet this evening at 6pm probably to start a course of injections for arthritis in both her hind quarters...
She’s getting quite stiff ......this is a short journey thankfully.....great fun! (Not)...as while she doesn’t mind getting in the car she will not stay quiet, so it always takes two of us and a huge struggle...!!
However, she’s one of probably very few dogs who LOVES the vets.....runs off in with them no fear at all...which is odd considering how many things she is actually scared of....!!
