Trip to Hoy today, passenger ferry from Stromness to Moaness then a walk to Rackwick bay through Glens of Kinnaird and return, about 10mls.
Rackwick has to be one of the most peaceful places to visit, a 200m cliff to the South and a little lower to the North, a scattering of cottages and a free to use  bothy, its in the upper picture, closed at the moment due to covid. Home to many Skua, a real predator of the sky.
