Cornish Holiday - waves
Backblip...We got up early to photograph the surfers. Rob had his new Nikon z7ii and I had the z50. It was our first experience of photographing fast moving subjects and we found it quite disconcerting when the viewfinder took a second to come to life. So you are scanning the bay with your eyes, see someone getting on their board, lift the camera to your eyes and by the time the viewfinder comes to life you have lost them. The DSLR definitely wins out for tracking fast moving subjects. For me thought the light weight of the z50 made it much more comfortable to hold to the eye for an extended period and seeing the exposure adjustments was very handy too.
This was the day we had rain in the afternoon so we went to Padstow shopping, worked out well. Rob has started blipping his z7ii shots here.
