Broken Falls, Grampians, Victoria

Today we set out for home with the intention of having a short side trip on the way to give us a break and to look for possible blips.

When we got to the Grampians, which is not far from Stawell, we decided to take a detour to see the McKenzie Falls. Paladian and I had visited them 7 years ago, and the Falls are set in a beautiful area of natural forest.

It was so bloody hot, we abandoned the thought of a long walk in favour of a mere 200 metres to the Broken Falls. These Falls are just a little upstream from the McKenzie Falls and are equally spectacular.

We didn't stay long, and when we got back to the car we checked the temperature and it was 40 degrees. So we headed straight for home and a decent air conditioner.
