Azolla

Visited a friend's garden today and at one side of his garden is a dyke that is currently red with a small aquatic fern called Azolla. He had it on the dyke about 4 years ago and this year it has returned. It is an amazing aquatic fern that absorbs a huge amount of CO2 ftom the atmosphere. This is Nature at its best doing something without our interference helping to solve the problem of CO2 in our atmosphere. What an extraordinary little plant!
