My Grandfather

I made a quick stopover to the town of Lockhart in the Riverina district of NSW to see my 85 year old Grandfather. He quite simply is one of the best men I know. His wit is as sharp as ever and he is surprisingly active and mobile for a man of his age. He actually hates it when I take a picture of him but I took this when he was cooking on the barbecue & I really love this shot. The cheeky smile, the hat, the contrast with the silver shed and the shadows of him on the shed make this a great shot in my opinion.
