First borns

No photos taken today but this was an image that popped up in memories that I sent on to my eldest daughter. My mother with me moments after having my daughter. We are all the first borns and all females.

My eldest daughter is in the final stretch of her degree and I so feel for her - it is relentless as she finished off all the essays that are required. She sends them to me to look over and offer support / advice where I can as we both did similar degrees - Political Science / Economics. However her dissertation reflects the time that she inhabits - 'What are the Unique Issues of Transgender Asylum Seekers in the UK?" We are both learning a lot...
