Today's the day ....................... for an evening stroll

Took ourselves off for an early evening walk on a nearby beach that we had never actually visited before.

So glad we did too because it really was a stunner - with beautiful soft sand, rock pools and a profusion of sea pinks, candytuft and other seaside flowers.  Interesting geology too.

But best of all, we had it completely to ourselves .....................
