L ... finally!!!!

Jon has waited a looong time for this moment. And here he is finally. Yes he’s 24 and never driven, but that’s because we lived in HK and there was no need!

Anyway, he’s worked hard at doing his study in prep for his learner’s test and passed that on Friday. All online. And today we went and got him his L plates.

He has nominated me to be his Supervising Driver and off we went for his first lesson ever.

I drove to the Dreamworld car park which apparently is pretty empty these days with no tourists in Oz.

We spent about an hour and a half doing basic driving, parking, reversing, corners, etc. It was good. I was proud of him, considering he was learning in an SUV. Plenty more to come. Exciting times.
