Path Marker
I took a detour for a lunch outing today looking for things to shoot. I visited a small park and then an abandoned building. This shot is from the small wooded park and it is of a path marker on a tree. I find it curious how the tree has grown around the marker and it shows how resilient the tree is.
I wanted to capture the marker and thought that a straight tree shot would be boring and so I tried to compose it differently. I also purposefully chose a wide open aperture to create a shallow DoF. I like the way it turned out.
No photoshopping here, just basic saturation, contrast and brightness
Constructive criticism always welcome
