Shearing day.

Thirty years ago Roger came and sheared out sheep. In those days we had the sheep in the barn conversion which is the home of Mr and Mrs Tbay Jnr. Now thirty years on he has been back to shear our small flock! We all look a little bit older and he is a lot slower but he still does do a very tidy job! Never thought he would be back to shear here again!

A gloriously sunny warm day too. Not what the forecast told us. Just as well as it would have made shearing more difficult. 

Today we woke up to having not farm staff for the first time in 25 plus years. Yesterday we said goodbye to Pete who is off to pastures new and also to Chris. However Chris will still be around as we will be using him as and when we need him. Both these boys have been really brilliant and will be an asset where ever they end up.
