Mount Aoraki

My boss, big T is in THC (Tussocks holiday camp) following a decision by the B's to have a day trip to Christchurch. Departing at sparrows flatulence it was still early light when we arrived at Lake Pukaki and there in all it's glory was THE MOUNTAIN. Previously named Mt Cook and The Boss was soon out and clicking, using the car door as a support and requiring The Bossess to turn the engine off 'Cos his viewfinder was shaking. For the international folk this is New Zealand's highest mountain at 12,000 ft plus a bit (in the old money) so to bark and although low in global terms, way to many have lost their lives in the very challenging environment that Aoraki presents.
