Unfurling

Rosie and I made the most of today's beautiful weather with a long walk through Queens Park; afterwards, she studied in the back garden while I did some work on my bike. We ate together for the first time this year - it was such a lovely day! Long may it continue.

These ferns have just been clumps of brown dead stalks for months but have been exploding with growth over the last week or so. Very soon they'll have fully unfurled and will add so much green to the garden.
