Rainy Sunday

It poured torrentially all morning so I did some massage practice before we finally ventured outside with Merlin for his walk. We all got soaked but Merlin had great fun playing fetch and ‘hunt the ball’ over in the field - during which he runs along nose to the ground, his tail wagging enthusiastically!

The rain continued all afternoon (and evening) but in a lighter form. I was determined to put in a few shrubs I’d bought for the front garden and to plant some of the tomato plants into the raised beds. So I got wet again but it was satisfying to make some progress with the garden.

After a final soaking on the late afternoon dog walk, we warmed up with sausage casserole for dinner followed by an episode of the Great British Sewing Bee. Glad to have had the rain but hoping tomorrow is drier.
