Guildford

I got an email this morning telling me the advice on travelling to Germany has been updated. We are now a risk area, because of the Indian variant of concern which is over here. What this will mean for us travelling to Germany in June, I have no idea. I feel like I'm anxious all the time now; as if the virus wasn't enough to cope with, my son wanting us over there for his wedding is an extra stress because the situtation is changing all the time.

This afternoon we drove to Guildford and wandered up the High Street in the rain. We wore masks and visited an art gallery and a book shop. I still feel very nervous being inside with other people - despite being masked and fully vaccinated. Guildford is a very pretty town, though.
