My retirement project*

Remember the days when recipes were kept on uniform cards, in boxes, organized by category with tabbed separator tabs and color coded and alphabetized? Me neither.

My recipe box is as old as our marriage and it has never been 'standardized'. It is sort of organized, though. Entrees, salads, desserts, etc. are together and all that but how lovely would it be to scan everything, print and laminate it so some of the handwritten ones can be preserved, along with the oil stains and chocolate smears from every time you've ever made that recipe.

Brunch at special person's house was wonderful, excellent eats, excellent company.
