Tulip

At the very end Susan’s tulip stole the day from the jack by the hedge, bluebells and yellow archangel we passed on our walk this afternoon.

We endured some heavy showers this morning, providing plenty of water to raise the level of the pond and fill the butts. It was much calmer this afternoon.

Doreen was improved today, she managed to get down for lunch. She has a health visitor appointment tomorrow to do a full assessment so we will know more after that. Susan feels better too, we think it was a combination of the jab, worries over her mum and allotment which contributed to how she felt.

Thank you for your comments, support and indeed indignation over the Council’s plans to move us from our allotments. Fellow plotholders I’ve spoken to feel as we do. This could be a long, disagreeable process.
