Hide Away

Caught coming out of the copse as I drove by early to get to my cuckoos this morning, a  beautiful young roe deer. 

The cuckoo is still cuckooing  and the red kites are still lazily banking round over the hill but I just loved seeing her peek out of the trees here. 

Consultants appointment tomorrow which I'm dreading frankly but there are worse things happen at sea or so my mothers says. Not that I've told her.
