A Reminder of the Past

In the mid 1960's I was apprenticed to the Diesel Fuel Injection Trade and served my time until I came out qualified in the repair and maintenance of pumps such as this Bosch one seen today on an old railway tamping machine in a museum in Toijala.
Very crucially the glass bowl containing the filter on the lift pump (that's it with the black handle) is missing.
