Sheltering from the rain

Today B and I took the dogs for a walk at Preston Bagot. We set off in the rain along the canal. We took the mini tent along with us and set it up in the spot down by the river where we have seen the kingfisher a couple of times. We were surrounded by wild garlic which was all out in flower and very pungent. We had some crisps and cans of Diet Coke. We waited for the kingfisher but it didn’t show itself today. By the time we set off for home the sun was shining and the birds were singing and the trees were a verdant green. This photo was taken by B and shows one of our favourite places to stop and pause for a while.
