Happy Birthday!

My older granddaughter is 17 tomorrow. We celebrated today because tomorrow is a school day. I remember having my bag packed and in the trunk of my car, waiting to hear that her birth was imminent - ready to hop on the ferry at a moment's notice. Didn't quite make it in time, but got there pretty soon after. Hard to believe that was 17 years ago! What a gift she is!
