Better Late than Never

In the absence of anything else in the film can, I give you my Pigs in Blankets which are seeing the light of day for the first time in 5 months having spent their days since Christmas locked in the darkness and sub zero temperatures of my freezer.
Instead of being served tonight with turkey and all the trimmings, they will be accompanied by a rocket salad. How are the mighty fallen!

It’s not as though my day so far has been eventless, but no blip resulted from the early exercise and sociable Sunday get together with friends over coffee.

When the sun came out at lunch time, I sat outside with the paper and the sunglasses- a heady mix- but now that the sun has disappeared, there are ominous skies to the east and a not so warm breeze, I have retreated indoors to see if things improve.
