From the Crown Range

We had an appointment in Frankton (just outside Queenstown) this afternoon (amazing any specialist would be working on a Sunday).  We were returning over the Crown Range at about 4.30 and the light was beautiful.  This blip shows a portion of the road snaking up the hill.  The extra shows this morning’s snow that fell on our hills over night.
The forecast for tomorrow isn’t too bad and we thought we would walk upstream from Stevenson Road along  the Clutha River and down to the confluence with the Cardrona River.
