Never make passes to girls who wear glasses..

Watching a couple of friends play for Boroughmuir Thistle at a freezing cold Leith Links today and halfway through the first half I saw that the Leith Ath Ladies No 7 was wearing sports specs. As a specs wearer myself I wish they'd had them when I was a lad- I might have taken more of an interest in rugby lessons instead of wandering about the school pitch lost. And I wouldn't have been a better football player but at least I could have seen whom I was kicking!
Afterwards the girl said "Oh these, they're not very flattering are they?". Vanity!
